Not seen the second one? *gasps* My dear, that is shocking! You must redeem this situation immediately! I'm guessing you saw the first one way back when it was released, in which case you can't have been more than 13 at the time. I suggest you re-watch and reevaluate CotBP now from your more mature standpoint. I can't honestly say I'd have enjoyed this film so much if I'd seen it when I was younger. I was more into girly things then, and a bunch of dirty pirates wouldn't have worked for me. I'm more versatile now, and can appreciate the movie cheifly for its fine casting and subtle humour. And in my humble opinion, DMC is even more enjoyable. Ye have not lived until ye've seen Johhny Depp plummet over a ravine strapped to a totem pole like a human shishkebab, come unstrapped and unravelled on the way down, and crash though numerous hanging bridges to land spread eagled on the grass in a shower of coconuts and papaw. He shows the Three Stooges how it's done.
