I've gone and signed up for my first NaNoWriMo. I know it's insanely early, but now I have one and a half months to come up with a plot. Or a story idea, for that matter.

I had a poll a little while ago to help me figure it out. LOL! but it didn,t help that much since the result was tied. ;) It's either Wonder Woman or Robin -- one of the two, that's all I know for now.

You'll do great. I signed up last year and got nothing done. Long story short, I had written about a quarter of a novel in early spring, lost it due to a flash drive malfunction, and hoped to rewrite it last Nov. It didn't happen.

I'm signing up again though--last week I was miraculously able to recover what I'd written (after a year and a half)! So I'm going to give it an honest go this time IF I can get my dissertation mostly finished first.

I hope you post updates here--it will be so satisfying to "win," I bet!
