Ladies and Gentlemen...Today is P-Day.

I GOT HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS!!!!

 

But my Mum insisted we toss to see who gets to read it first, and I lost. My sis is holed up reading it, and will be holed up reading it, for the next six hours at least. Waah!

 

The bad news? I peeked at the end just to check whether the spoilers were true. And they were…..

... just dropping in to say that time differences are so not fair! :P We just passed midnight here on the U.S. east coast so there are gazillions of people getting their first glimpse. My copy will arrive from Amazon tomorrow - maybe if I sleep late enough, it will be here when I wake up! And then I will know all... :)

Not fair? Not fair is when YOU pay for your copy from money taken from your own bank account, and your sister gets to read it first while you are locked outside, stewing and chewing your nails unable even to go to the internet for solace because some idiot's put the entire seventh book plot summary on Wikipedia! Now THAT's unfair!!

You didn't look? You are a stronger woman than I! However, I did read the first couple of chapters with my sis and so far it looks as if I got my money's worth...and then some! After the disappointments of OotP and HPB, this is Rowling's last chance.
