I have fallen for no less than THREE of the self-same ilk within the past two years

Why God? Why DSCITES?! I HATE the bloody school!WHY do I ALWAYS fall for them?!*groan*

My friends have given up on me. It was bad enough that I had gone around moaning about my unrequited love for Sashane, who had nothing to recommend him but his reputation as an over-acheiver and his smart-ass persona (wasn't remotely cute, and was about half a head shorter than me, and a prize arsehole egomaniac besides), then gone and unwittingly eyed up the boyfriend of one of my good friends, while on rebound, and THEN fallen for the legendary *ahem* person, who is several years older to me, is of a completely different race (I don't give a fig, but the parents would flip *yawn*) and living in Paki besides. And now Arshad of the Obviously Fake Eyebrows is to join that illustrious list.

And here's the scary part: they're ALL egotistical debators from DSS College

Arshad, is apparently the biggest egomaniac to befall the earth since my other crush, Sashane. According to the very disgusted Praveni, at least.

I could tell from Praveeni's voice that she had given up on me

Somebody, shoot me before I destroy what shreds of self-dignity I have left!!

Eh, friends like what, darlin'? I didn't mean to sound like I'm dissing Praveeni, 'cos she is a darling and I love her, but she is just one of those scarily no-nonsense, own-to-earth types you know? Doesn't suffer fools gladly at all. Which is why she made Deputy Head Girl of our illustrious Alma Mater and I didn't even get prefect. *Blows kisses to Prav, in pride*
I should listen to her, really. She's usually right about people. But Arshad is sooooo DARLING!! *daydreams*

You're a no-nonsense, down- to-earth person too, then? I seem to attract those sort of people. Only reason a head-in-clouds scatterbrain like me manages to survive, really. Although I wouldn't say Pravs was extreme either. She's just- different.
So your li'l bro's a shutterbug? This is a really good picture! How old is he? And, don't be modest, no amount of angling skills can make a great picture if you aren't born that way, or have been to a plastic surgeon. Ah well, I guess it's the plastic surgeon for me. *g*
