Ramblings of a Free (and exam-weary) Woman

Dear World,

I AM FREE! For better or worse, finals are OVER. I am a free, unencumbered individual till January.

So, I should celebrate by re-binge-watching Supernatural Season 2 for the 557th time and reading all the truck loads of delicious fanfic my flist is exploding with and generally get wasted on all things useless and time-consuming, right?

Except for the fact that I HAVE NOT SLEPT in thirty-six hours, and my entire family is ill with colds and it's raining like the sky had a really bad break up with the sun. It's not even grand, majestic thunderstorming. It's just a dark, dank, drab, drippy, depressing drizzle that never seems to freaking STOP. Also, we fired the maid a couple of weeks back so I am stuck with all the housework I have so far been exempted from because of my finals. Also, it's freakin' cold and I can feel the Deadly Sniffles eyeing me like my immune system has got its name on it. Therefore, I am off to celebrate my freedom and unencumberedness by crashing into bed in the manner of a large block of wood and eagerly anticipating conquering the Laundry Mountain early next morning. Hopefully by then we'll have a bit of sun. I hate it when the weather gets emo.

Does anybody know whether the next episode of SPN will be on the 3rd or the 31st? There have been conflicting reports and the idea of going so long without Show is giving me severe withdrawal panic. Not seeing Show for another one and half month is too much like going cold turkey for me.

Lovely, blessed Show. Too long have I fangirled thee in silence. Come back soon, my  preciousss.  I cannot live without you.

Bleh. I really am going stupid with sleep. And now, if you lovely ladies will excuse me, I am going to go affect a joyful reunion with my pillow. I have missed it muchly.

Sleep well, dear. The Futon Critic shows reruns airing this week and 1/3, and hasn't predicted further to guesstimate when the few remaining new episodes already finished will actually air. I haven't seen any official announcement of the CW's January schedule yet, although I seem to recall a blip during Smallville that the next new episode of that one would be on 1/10.
