I believe Flagyl was the drug my former best friend N was taking on our ill-fated sea side vacation in January. Good God, no wonder she was a bitch. Anyone would be, after taking this shit.

Well, the diarrhea is under control at present but shows no sign of going away. Which is what worries me. Have been imbibing fluids like nobody's business though, so that's okay.

I try not to drink Coca Cola because it makes my throat all scratchy. I have drunk the boiled rice water and actually progressed from it to dry bread and sandwiches. I'll keep your other advice in mind. Luckily for me, Sri Lanka is ALWAYS warm. XD

I'm a fruit dunce. Maybe we do have catcus fruit and I don't know what we call it here. =(

I dunno whether I'm taking the appropriate dosage. Currently, I'm holding off on taking any more till I get a second opinion on it.

too bad 'cause it's the only speedy thing I know that actually makes it go away. I hate coca as well and only drink it when I'm in that starte so, Coca cola is just a medecine for me.
