The day so far: Dragged Dad out of bed to drive me to a 7 a.m rehearsal. Encountered locked theater and sleepy director/ theater owner who infromed me kindly that he meant the rehearsal was at 7 in the evening because 7 a.m is too early for normal human beings to function *hint hint*. Drove back with disgruntled Dad who informed me that my little stunt had made him late for office and my brother late for school. Got stuck in school traffic on the way.
And it isn't even 8 o' clock yet.
Yeah, this is going to be a good day.

Date: 2009-01-16 05:41 am (UTC)Thank you, but you'll never guess what happened to me the NEXT morning. I go to the gym every other morning, and shower and get dressed there before dropping off my gym bag at home and heading out for the day. That morning, I had just finished soaping myself when the power went off. Apparently, they use electricity to pump the water up to that floor or something, so the water went off too. I was stuck inside a shower stall for 45 mins with soap drying on my skin and conditioner in my hair. Finally, I toweled myself off, soap be damned, and headed off home to wash - only to get stuck in traffic. Later I found out that the power had come back on just as I'd left.
My life. It is a FARCE.
