Happy Birthday! I will not lie to you, 22 is officially old.

That said, at least people will tend to take you more seriously. I've always found that, even at 21, people humour me most of the time. Though that may be because I'm completely insane and mentally the age of a 4 year old. *shrug* Go figure.

In any case...don't panic, life is actually an exciting process. You've just gotta know how to make it that way. And now that you're 22 and whatever you do and say is officially credible to the outside world, you can pretty much do what you want :)

20-somethings are all insane anyway. It is how they deal with the stress of discovering that Being Grown Up Is Not That Cool. Having spent one's whole teenagehood under parental oppression dreaming of growing up, this is a nasty surprise. Usually the shock wears off around the time you hit 30, replaced by menopausal anxiety.

And now that you're 22 and whatever you do and say is officially credible to the outside world, you can pretty much do what you want :)

Haha story of my life! But you know, for a while, we can attempt to pretend that being grown up is just a little bit cool...that is, until the responsibilities start to weight in BUT let's not think depressing, ominous thoughts on this lovely day.

My dear, this is your chance to show the world exactly how mad and dangerous you really are! Seriously, go with the flow. That's how I'm planning to do it. And by the time they realise that they never should have let you reach this age, it'll be too late and you'll already have achieved world domination and sheep will be the ultimate answer to all of life's questions. Isn't that a lovely idea?

Mmmm cake...I don't have balloons, unfortunately, but I do have party horns!

You're more than welcome. I'm fine. New kitchen's finally here and done and she's so burgandy beautiful! I'm not camping anymore! I mean, I have a real oven to actually really cook and not microwave.

I'm rehearsing for THE big june 26th concert, in THE mythic concert arena of the town. Since mid june, it's everyday rehearsal with musicians not showing up or changing the structure of songs at the last min. Hopefully, I love singing so, as long as I can, I'm happy. Plus singers, se're a group of friends as well and we stick together on or off stage. It's cool.

If it's any indication, everyone on band agrees to say I've got the exact same voice (colour, texture, etc) as Kasey Chambers.
